Cycle Challenge - Lands End to John O’ Groats

9th -24th August 2025

Our friend Gareth is embarking on an extraordinary journey this August 2025, cycling from Lands End in the south of the UK to the tip of John O’Groats. He’s not merely chasing an adventure but is driven by a noble purpose – to raise awareness and funds for Hope for Hermione. This charity is dedicated to supporting research projects aimed at finding a cure for BPAN (Beta-Propeller Protein-Associated Neurodegeneration), a rare and devastating neurological disorder. Gareth's determination to pedal across the length of the country is a testament to his commitment to making a difference for those affected by BPAN, and his efforts will contribute significantly to advancing the understanding and treatment of this condition.

If you would like to join Gareth on this extraordinary journey, please do get in touch with us!

We also have sponsorship opportunities available.

Charity Runs

At Hope for Hermione, we believe in the power of community and coming together for a cause. That's why we organize a variety of events to raise awareness and funds for finding a cure for BPAN, a rare genetic disorder affecting the nervous system.

One of our signature events is the Charity Run, where participants lace up their running shoes to support our cause. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting, join us for a day of fun and fundraising.

Swim with Me

Come swim with me is a great way to keep my body moving!  Swimming is one of my favourite things to do, and I can tell you all about BPAN too!  Fancy a swimming challenge?  Get in touch with us!

During the Month of May,  we will be doing a SWIMATHON!
