Cycle Challenge - Lands End to John O’ Groats

9th -24th August 2025

This August 2025, our dear friend Gareth is taking on an incredible challenge: cycling from Land's End in the south of the UK all the way to John O’Groats in the north. But this isn’t just about adventure – it’s about purpose. Gareth is riding to raise awareness and funds for Hope for Hermione, a charity dedicated to supporting vital research into BPAN (Beta-Propeller Protein-Associated Neurodegeneration), a rare and devastating neurological disorder.

Gareth’s journey is a powerful reflection of his determination to make a real difference for those affected by BPAN. Every mile he pedals will help shine a light on this condition and contribute to advancing research efforts that bring hope to so many.

Would you like to be part of this inspiring mission? Join Gareth on his journey or get involved in other ways – we’d love to hear from you!

We also have exciting sponsorship opportunities available. Partner with us and help drive Gareth’s mission forward!

Charity Runs

At Hope for Hermione, we believe in the power of community and coming together for a cause. That's why we organize a variety of events to raise awareness and funds for finding a cure for BPAN, a rare genetic disorder affecting the nervous system.

One of our signature events is the Charity Run, where participants lace up their running shoes to support our cause. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting, join us for a day of fun and fundraising.

Swim with Me

Come swim with me is a great way to keep my body moving!  Swimming is one of my favourite things to do, and I can tell you all about BPAN too!  Fancy a swimming challenge?  Get in touch with us!
